Information about the Kansai Yang family
The so-called Guanxi refers to Huayin, Shaanxi. According to legend, during the Warring States Period, there was a man named Yang Zhang who served as the Zuo Shu Chief of King Huiwen of Qin. He was named the Marquis of Huayin because of his outstanding military exploits. As a result, Huayin, Shaanxi became the birthplace of the Yang family, and Yang Zhang was revered as the founding ancestor of the Yang family in Huayin.
He lived in Xiyu Township, Cixi; in the third year of the Yuan Dynasty, he was an official councilor, and moved to Wujia, Lingxu Township, Dinghai; his ancestor Hengba, the sixth generation, served as an official in the imperial palace..." Qi Xu of Yang Xian of the Qing Dynasty said: "... the Lord of Yun Erfu came to judge Mingzhou. , then he was born in Yin. In the third and fifth generations, there were many talented people, and there were many people who became Jinshi within the eighth generation. It was so prosperous that they went south to Pian'an, and each family established their own genealogy. The genealogy is divided into nine sects, and the imperial edict is Jiufu. My fifth ancestor Yuan Sanfu moved to Dinghai (original note: now changed to Zhenhai) to govern Wujia, Lingxu, North, which is actually the founder of this sect." Also, it is said in the preface of Yang Zhaoguan in the Qing Dynasty. : "The Lord of the Three Prefectures of the Yuan Dynasty consulted Guangdong as a member of the Ministry of Industry. In his later years, he returned to Longshan. He served as the Lord of the Eight Prefectures in the Song Dynasty and became the imperial censor in the palace. He moved to Songshui again and was the founding ancestor of our sect."
According to this, we can know the origin of the Yang family in the Siming Dynasty. The fifth generation ancestor Yuan San moved from Yinxian County to Wujia, Lingxu, North Town, and the sixth generation ancestor Hengba moved to Songshui, which is now Yangjia Village, Fanshi Town, Cixi City.
The biographies of this branch of the Yang family included in Guangxu's "Zhenhai County Chronicle" include Yang Jifang and Yang Gao of the Qing Dynasty.
This genealogy was created in the Southern Song Dynasty and compiled by Yang Changchang. It has been revised many times since then, mainly as follows:
During Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty (1522-1566), the editor is unknown.
It was compiled by Yang Xianqi in the Bingzi year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1696).
In the Jiazi Year of Qianlong (1744), edited by Yang Yongkai.
In the Yihai year of Qianlong (1755), it was compiled by Yang Xun.
Dingyou year of Daoguang (1837), edited by Yang Zhaoguan.
All the above copies have been lost, and this Guangxu Pu has become the only copy in the world. I was extremely careful while browsing, but the paper turned into ashes at my fingertips. The administrator was so panicked that he screamed repeatedly, saying that he was no longer allowed to leave the collection room and no one was allowed to browse.
