Police reform in the compilation and approval of public security undertakings

Legal analysis: The Public Security Bureau is a part of the local government and belongs to the political and legal system. All on-the-job cadres use the special system of politics and law, have a unified police rank and alarm number, and report them for the record according to the regulations, and cannot be changed at will. They are born civil servants.

Legal basis: People's Police Law of the People's Republic of China.

Article 25 The people's police shall implement the police rank system according to law.

Article 26 The people's police shall meet the following conditions:

(1) Citizens who have reached the age of 18;

(2) Supporting the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(3) Having good political and professional qualities and good conduct;

(4) Being in good health;

(5) Having graduated from high school or above;

(6) Volunteering in the work of the people's police.

One of the following circumstances, shall not serve as the people's police:

(1) Having received criminal punishment for committing a crime;

(2) Being expelled from public office.
