What cities are there in central and southern Anhui?

The cities in south-central Anhui are Anqing, Huangshan, Wuhu, Tongling and Maanshan.

Anqing City, referred to as "Yi" for short, is a prefecture-level city in Anhui Province. It is located in the south-central part of Anhui Province, on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, where the Wanhe River enters the river, bordering Hubei in the west, Jiangxi in the south, the main peak of Dabie Mountain in the northwest and the remaining vein of Huangshan Mountain in the southeast.

2. Huangshan City

Huangshan, a prefecture-level city in Anhui Province, was called Xin 'an, Zhangzhou and Huizhou in ancient times, and is a member city of Hangzhou metropolitan area. Located at the junction of Anhui, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, it borders Jingdezhen and Wuyuan County in Jiangxi Province in the southwest, and Hua Kai, Chun 'an County in Zhejiang Province and Lin 'an District in Hangzhou in the southeast.

3. Wuhu City

Wuhu, referred to as Jiangcheng for short, is a prefecture-level city in Anhui Province and one of the 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta, with a total area of 6,026 square kilometers. It is an important scientific research and education base and industrial base in East China, and the central city of G60 Science and Technology Corridor.

4. Tongling City

Tongling is located in the east of China, south-central Anhui Province, at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with Hefei in the north, Chizhou in the south, Wuhu in the east and Anqing in the west, with a subtropical humid monsoon climate in the north.

5. Ma On Shan

Maanshan, referred to as "Ma" for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province and one of the 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta. It is one of the core cities in the Wanjiang Economic Belt, a new immigrant city and an important node city in the southern Anhui International Tourism and Culture Demonstration Zone.
