What kind of people can apply to settle in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong immigration plan mainly includes Hong Kong investment immigration (suspended from 20 15 to 15), talents, professionals and entrepreneurs immigration projects. These immigration projects can bring affiliated applicants to Hong Kong, but only their spouses and unmarried and financially dependent children under 18, provided that the principal applicant (principal applicant, however, at the time of application, parents cannot come to Hong Kong as affiliated applicants. Only after the principal applicant becomes a permanent resident of Hong Kong or has the unconditional right of abode in Hong Kong can he apply for his parents aged 60 or above to stay in Hong Kong. The so-called Hong Kong relative migration means that Hong Kong settlers apply for mainland relatives to live in Hong Kong. According to the regulations of the Exit-Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security of China, mainland citizens who travel to Hong Kong and Macao for personal reasons must apply to the exit-entry administration department of the municipal or county public security bureau where their household registration is located.

Under any of the following circumstances, you can apply for settlement in Hong Kong:

(1) One of the husband and wife has settled in Hong Kong and separated for many years (according to the specific separation years, the prescribed separation years are different due to different local conditions);

(2) Parents who have settled in Hong Kong are old and frail (aged 60 or above and have no children to take care of in Hong Kong) and must be taken care of by mainland children (18 or above);

(three) the elderly and children who are helpless in the mainland must rely on their immediate family members and close relatives in Hong Kong;

(four) the property of the immediate family members who have settled in Hong Kong has not been inherited and must be inherited by the mainland children;

(5) Parents under the age of 18 who need to take refuge in Hong Kong may apply for settlement in Hong Kong.

The application for settlement in Hong Kong shall be accepted by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ. Mainland citizens who have been approved to settle in Hong Kong shall be issued with travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao by the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ. Before going to Hong Kong, the holder shall cancel his account at the local police station and go to Hong Kong within the specified time.

In addition, the number of relatives in Hong Kong is limited, and successful applicants may have to wait for some time to obtain a certificate.
