Jiangsu is the largest province of contemporary Shen, accounting for 20% of the total population of Shen. The whole country has formed a distribution centered on Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

Shen Shi is a typical southern surname. Ye and You are both branches of Shen Shi, and Shen, Ye and You are descendants of Ji Zi. It can be said that these three surnames are actually a family.
