Main functions of Gangnan Reservoir

The reservoir is located in Pingshan County, the middle reaches of the Hutuo River in Ziya River system in Haihe River Basin, with a controlled basin area of10.59 million square kilometers, a designed total storage capacity of/kloc-0 1.5765438 million cubic meters and a flood control storage capacity of 9710.00 million cubic meters. It is a large reservoir that comprehensively utilizes water for irrigation, power generation, industry and urban life. Responsible for the flood control and security of Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, and the downstream railways, highways, Huabei Oilfield and Jizhong Plain. At the same time, it is very important to provide water for agriculture, industry and cities in this area.

Since the completion of the reservoir, the flood control standard flood has been impounded for three times. The maximum flood peaks of 1963, 1996 and 1999 are 4390, 70 10 and 4460 m3/s, respectively, and the total flood regulated for many years has reached/kloc-0.

After 48 years of operation, Gangnan Reservoir has irrigated 77.8 million mu of farmland and generated 2,307.08 million kWh of electricity. From 1996, water was supplied to Shijiazhuang residents and the environment, and by the end of 2006, the cumulative water supply was 61470,000 cubic meters.

The land acquisition elevation of Gangnan Reservoir is 200m, with 40,200 mu of cultivated land flooded, and the resettlement elevation is 203.0m, with a population of 35,979.

Gangnan Reservoir is responsible for supplying water to the provincial capital Shijiazhuang and Xibaipo power plants, with an annual water intake of 65.438+0.93 billion cubic meters. The irrigation channels for direct water intake from Gangnan Reservoir are Ganggang Canal, Dachuan Canal and Beiyue Canal, with a direct irrigation area of more than 200,000 mu. The average inflow of Huangbizhuang Reservoir for many years is 550 million cubic meters, and the irrigation area of supplying water to the downstream through the adjustment of Huangbizhuang Reservoir is more than 2 million mu. Irrigation area is an important grain base in Hebei Province.
