Since 1958 was established, more than 5000 turbogenerators of various specifications have been put into domestic and foreign markets, accounting for about 40% of the installed turbogenerators in China. Among them, the 3MW turbo-generator won the highest silver award in the national generator industry, and the 1.5MW and 6MW turbo-generators won the title of excellent products, continuing to maintain the national first-class products. In order to upgrade products, transform traditional industries with high technology, and make the economic and technical indicators of air-cooled turbogenerators produced by our factory reach the world advanced level, our factory introduced the design and manufacturing technology of large air-cooled generators from ALSTOM (formerly ABB) for three times by means of licensing transfer. In the first stage, the single machine capacity is 6 MW- 100 MW, from 1989 to 2000. Cooperation period 12 years, second-stage stand-alone capacity 100 MW-200 MW, from 1998 to 20 10 years, third-stage stand-alone capacity of 200-300MW, and cooperation period of 2008-2065438.

The characteristics of the license are:

(1) always keep pace with Alstom's technology during the cooperation period;

(2) The generators of the same model are produced at the same time, and the drawings used are of the same version;

(3) Enjoy the new technology of Alstom within the validity period of the license;

(4) It is the only licensed manufacturer in Asia;

Through the digestion and absorption of imported technology, the transformation and application of a whole set of technologies such as process and quality control have been completed, which meets the technical requirements of Alstom and ensures the product quality.

The 220MW air-cooled generator was successfully manufactured in March 2004 and put into operation in August 2004, with stable operation. From June, 5438 to February, 2004, it passed the national appraisal in Beijing, and successively won the second prize of Shandong Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award.

The 330MW air-cooled generator completed the on-load operation in September 2006, and all the indexes met the design requirements.

It is distributed in more than 20 countries and regions such as Asia, Africa, Europe and South America, including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, South Africa, Botswana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia and Venezuela.

Our factory has now produced and sold more than 600 WX series generators, with a maximum stand-alone capacity of 350MW. We have successively cooperated with domestic steam turbine manufacturers such as Shanghai Steam Turbine Works, Harbin Steam Turbine Works, Dongfang Steam Turbine Works, Beijing Beizhong Steam Turbine Works, Hangzhou Steam Turbine Works, Wuhan Steam Turbine Works, Nanjing Steam Turbine Works, Qingdao Steam Turbine Works and other foreign steam turbine manufacturers such as Alstom, Siemens of Germany, and Nippon New Machinery Co., Ltd., and achieved good results.

At present, our factory has formed the annual production capacity of 10000MW turbogenerator, and the processing and assembly test conditions can meet the manufacturing requirements of a single turbogenerator with a capacity of 350MW.
