Job Recruitment Website - Ranking of immigration countries - I'm in Pravida, Costa Rica.
I'm in Pravida, Costa Rica.
There are two reasons. The first one is emotional. Few people know Costa Rica in China, but in Europe, the United States is very famous because it is "the happiest country in the world" and "Little Switzerland in Central America". Because of a person, I began to understand Costa Rica and fell in love with it. Especially its natural scenery and the relationship between local people and animals.
The second reason is rational. The whole operation of ICP project revolves around the continuing education of local aborigines, and going to the village on weekends, but working in the university on weekdays will give EP a lot of commercial projects, on the one hand, it will give EP experience and opportunities to do commercial projects, on the other hand, it will subsidize the project operating expenses. Because I am a business student, I have experience in doing projects and I like doing them very much, so I took a fancy to them.
My project is different from other projects of AIESEC. It belongs to a non-profit organization under the private adult university (UMA) and was established by the president of UMA. AIESEC UMA(TN branch, originally not UMA, but they moved to UMA because of the good project) cooperated with it and brought volunteers from many countries, but UMA can also re-cure itself. Because the project is led by the principal rather than the students, the project is different from ordinary projects, very formal and informative, and truly achieves the purpose of voluntary service. Of course, we won't know until we go. The headmaster is a strong woman in her early sixties. She has to deal with school affairs as well as her own career and projects. She can really learn a lot from her. When the local NPO association we cooperate with has activities, she will try her best to arrange for each of us to have the opportunity to experience and participate.
There have been no Asian volunteers in ICP. Surprisingly, however, three volunteers from China signed up this time. This country has always brought us a wonderful experience from the beginning. The headmaster said that basically everyone wants to go back, some stay there, and some consider Costa Rica in the future.
Costa Rica is the first country in Central America to establish diplomatic relations with China, so the locals like China people very much, and there are few China people there, so it's fun to play! ! Walking on the road is simply regarded as an animal. Ha ha ha, someone said "chinita" to you. Especially if you buy some handmade ornaments in the market, you can get1000,2000 kronor or even get a discount, probably because we are beautiful (it can be seen that all the discount is male shopkeepers). Sorry, this EP is a bit shameless.
Once again, I entered Maluku village, and went to a Chinese-run restaurant for dinner in the evening, and chatted with my boss, who is from Jiangmen, Guangdong. The immigrants there are basically Cantonese, and they are very enthusiastic. I feel the hospitality that China people are familiar with. I like it very much. Because Costa Rica is mainly engaged in agriculture and tourism, the boss himself is also planting and exporting rare plants, and he is willing to try to cooperate with the aborigines. After the boss, we were lucky enough to participate in an activity of the local Confucius Institute. Hearing the national anthem is really full of enthusiasm, so we don't understand why people feel ashamed to sing it now. When the national flag is raised, every silence is a moment that makes me feel humiliated.
There is an iconic saying in Colombia called "pura vida", which is "pure life" and permeates people's souls. They are simple and enthusiastic. They can say they meet, say hello and say goodbye. A word from pura vida can bring us closer, and every time it is said, it can make them feel more fulfilled.
There are many nature parks and beaches there, all of which are free. The sky is so blue and the trees are so green. Sea and sky meet in waves of fog, just like heaven. I was lying in a hammock by the sea, drinking beer and blowing water with my friends, shaking and shaking, and my life passed like this. Like a sloth Here, the idea of promotion and salary increase, becoming general manager and marrying Bai has been forgotten. Because for myself, even if I am competitive, I have to compete with others. I would rather be poor, but I also hope that my life is really a kind of life. If I can do it, it will be my own success.
Obviously, China was really considerate of others on this trip, because the principal was very busy and couldn't care about the trivial matters of the project, so she did something right, but we didn't understand. The three of us in China are the youngest people in the project, but we always get to know the headmaster before explaining to other volunteers why she did it.
