How long does it take to study in Germany?

Time is a bit tight, and it may not be finished in six weeks.

German visa is an entry certificate issued by German embassies and consulates abroad to foreign citizens who apply to enter Germany. Mainly used for tourism, business, transit, family reunion, marriage, work, study abroad and so on.

According to the new German immigration law, German embassies and consulates abroad can examine and issue short-term visas valid for no more than 90 days. However, visas valid for more than 90 days (such as family reunion, work visas) can only be issued after approval by foreigners' management agencies all over Germany.

When applying for a student visa, foreign students studying in Germany must apply in advance to the overseas student audit department of the Cultural Office of the German embassy abroad (provided that they have a two-year university degree), apply for an entry visa to the German embassy or consulate abroad with the certificate of the audit department and other materials, and apply for a residence permit for studying abroad with the university admission notice after going to Germany.

To apply for a marriage visa, you must apply for marriage registration certificates and other materials issued by German civil affairs bureaus. After going to Germany, you should go through the marriage registration formalities first, and apply for the corresponding residence permit with the marriage certificate to the local foreigner management agency.

Visa materials:

I. Basic materials

Passport (1) (valid for at least 3 months after the expiration of the visa);

(2) Two complete application forms signed by the applicant (collected at the embassy visa office or downloaded online);

(3) Three photos of recent certificates (white background);

(4) One original and one copy (front and back) of the resident ID card.

Two. Materials required for business visa

(1) basic materials;

(2) The original letter of introduction in English or German issued by the work unit (the letter must indicate the company's address, telephone and fax numbers, the position of the business traveler, whether the company is a member, monthly salary and the purpose of going to Germany this time), signed by the company leader and stamped with the company seal;

(3) a copy of the business license of the work unit;

(4) Original invitation letter from German business partner (the letter must indicate the expected time limit, purpose, schedule and itinerary);

(5) The certificate of the undertaker (indicated in the invitation letter from Germany or the letter of introduction from the unit);

(6) Participants in the Expo/exhibition (booking directly or through the organizer of the exhibition) must provide: invitation letter, bill, payment voucher, booth confirmation, booth floor plan and hotel reservation in Germany;

(7) Other materials required by personal circumstances.
