On June 30, 2009, Obama announced at the White House that the United States would lift the 22-year ban on HIV carriers from June 30, 2009. Of course, this is a government regulation. Unlike Canada, the United States does not require you to have a physical examination before entering the country. No one checked from customs clearance to entry.
