Materials required for applying for B2 visa:
Take with you the printed reservation form, the printed confirmation page of DS- 160, recent photos of the last six months and all new and old passports (any of the above materials are indispensable).
Proof materials needed to apply for medical visa: valid passport, photos, certificates, economic certificates, invitations from foreign hospitals, foreign advance payment bills, personal salary certificates, Chinese and English medical cases, certificates of incurability in China issued by domestic hospitals, personal property certificates such as real estate licenses, semi-annual running bills of personal banks, personal bank deposit certificates (the recommended deposit certificate for medical treatment in the United States is more than RMB 500,000), etc.
Among the visas issued by the American Embassy to the United States, the short-term business travel (B 1) visa and the sightseeing/seeking medical services (B2) visa are usually issued together, collectively referred to as: business and tourist visas (B 1/B2). Among them, sightseeing and seeking medical services are all B2 visas. In other words, whether it is a tourist visa or a medical visa, the visas issued by the US Embassy are actually the same. The difference is the purpose of going to America. The feedback is that the visa materials to be prepared are different, the registration materials are different, and the questions asked by the visa officer are different.
When applying for a business and tourist visa, you must prove to the visa officer that you meet the visa application conditions stipulated in the US Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA), otherwise you will be regarded as "inclined to immigrate" and refused the visa. This condition includes: a clear purpose of going to the United States, the length of stay in the United States, the ability to pay the expenses in the United States, and the guarantee of returning overseas assets on schedule. A clear purpose of going to the United States is an important prerequisite for the integrity of visa applicants and the authenticity of follow-up materials, and it is also the biggest difference between medical visas and tourist visas.
