Who is abc?

Abc refers to the descendants of Chinese born in the United States.

ABC's full name "American-BornChinese" is an informal and somewhat ridiculous statement, referring to Chinese descendants born in the United States. Although I am from China, I don't know Chinese, but I speak authentic American English. They have been influenced by American culture and education since childhood, and their way of thinking and values are completely Americanized, which is different from their predecessors who immigrated to the United States. From the birth of their children, parents hope that when they grow up, they can smoothly integrate into the mainstream American society and occupy a place in the upper middle class. Therefore, families in China usually attach great importance to their children's education. Some parents have good English and don't speak Chinese at home. They want to train their children to be completely American. Some families don't want their children to break the foundation of China culture. They also teach their children to learn Chinese after school, but the effect is usually poor. As children become more and more sensible, they speak more and more English and less and less Chinese when talking to their parents. Chinese gradually disappeared and was completely replaced by English. For ABC, Chinese is only the mother tongue dialect of parents, so they naturally prefer to speak American dialect.
