Immigrant aborigines

According to the standards of the Qianlong emperor's period and later periods, familiarity is equivalent to being assimilated by Manchu-Chinese culture and obeying the Qing government's indigenous groups living in the present. However, this contemptuous title is retained, which shows that although this ethnic group is not Han nationality, it is very different from non-Han nationality in cultural level. These nouns reflect the common thought at that time: any nation can be assimilated or obeyed under the adoption of Confucian social norms.

Due to the low quality of officials sent by the early Qing court, the gap between the official and the folk language, and the high-handed policy of the Qing court towards the residents of Taiwan Province Province, armed uprisings or harassment incidents occurred constantly. The Zhu Yigui incident at 172 1, the Lin incident at 1786 and the Dai Chaochun incident at 1862 are called the three major events in Taiwan Province under the rule of the Qing Dynasty.

Local officials even ignored the struggle and division between the two sides, causing mutual losses and reducing possible rebel forces. This kind of ethnic confrontation makes economic and cultural exchanges more difficult. After the efforts of many local gentry of the two nationalities at the end of 19, it was gradually improved. However, today, the concept of ethnic separation is still influenced by it.
