Actually, you don't need a lawyer to run political asylum. Lawyer fees range from 3000 to 6000 dollars, or even more, depending on the length of time and the stage of experience.

The application for political asylum is divided into two stages: administrative procedure and immigration court. In the first stage, the lawyer charges $3,000, and the translation fee is extra. If it is passed in the first stage, there is no need to proceed to the next stage.

According to the regulations of the Immigration Bureau, you will receive the acceptance receipt from the Immigration Bureau within 2 1 day from the date of mailing, and you will go to the designated local Immigration Bureau to press your fingerprint within the specified time.

The interview will usually take place within 43 days from the date of sending the application, unless you live in a remote place and have to arrange another time (some places will hold the interview in a fixed month every year).

If your English is not good, you should bring your own translator during the interview. The general charge is $50 per hour.

This is the end of the first stage, and the settlement shall be within 1000 USD.

I won't tell you the result at the end of the interview. Wait 20 days to February, and you will receive a letter from the immigration office telling you whether you passed or failed. If you fail, the letter tells you that this is not the final decision, and your application will be transferred to the immigration court for adjudication, thus entering the second stage.
