Medical benefits of American immigrants
1. Emergency subsidy This benefit is suitable for emergency treatment, mainly for legal foreigners who stay for a short time, such as international students, tourists and illegal foreigners. The applicant must comply with the emergency regulations, and at the same time issue personal identity, income, residence and other certificates. Foreigners who reside legally for a short period of time refer to foreigners who are allowed to enter the country within a certain period of time for some reason, including tourists and family members who visit relatives.
Please note that emergency subsidies are different from normal medical subsidies. The former only serves non-immigrants (including new immigrants who are applying for green cards), while the latter only serves immigrants who have obtained green cards and become naturalized.
The following diseases (including emergency delivery and caesarean section) can be defined as emergencies:
The patient is dying.
Severe loss of limb function, such as amputation and massive bleeding.
A certain function of the body doesn't work, such as: the heart stops beating, the lungs can't breathe, etc.
The following does not include:
Organ transplantation.
An emergency that is being treated.
The course of treatment is as long as 15 months.
2. Health insurance for minors (1under 8 years old) (chip)
This benefit is used to buy health insurance for minor children of poor families, and it is basically not applicable to new immigrants who have not obtained a green card in the United States, unless there are special reasons, such as: the death of both parents (or the death of one party working in a single-employee family), terminal illness (chronic terminal illness is not counted) and so on. This benefit is very strict for immigrants who have not got a green card (including in the application). Don't apply for this benefit easily unless you have to.
3. Prenatal care and health care
As the name implies, this benefit is used for the health care and treatment of pregnant women. Generally speaking, most people who use this welfare are women without financial resources, including immigrants and non-immigrants. Many of them are pregnant teenage girls, women fleeing from domestic violence, women suffering from mental illness and individual women who have been raped.
Compared with other policies, this policy is much looser and will not affect immigration applications and naturalization applications. However, it must be noted that if you apply for this benefit without proper reasons, the police will suspect that you are suffering from domestic violence or that your marriage is a fake marriage, and as a result, your husband may not be able to immigrate or naturalize.
4. Free or low-cost medical care
Only used in doctors' clinics, health centers and other institutions, not used in rehabilitation centers, sanatoriums, sanatoriums and other places. This benefit varies from state to state, so you need to ask the hospital or treatment institution about the benefits in your state.

2.EB-5 investment immigrants
Individuals who invest a considerable amount in newly established or existing American enterprises can obtain the qualification of permanent residents, which is what many people call a "green card". The basic requirement of this kind of application (commonly known as "EB-5" application) is that individuals have to make personal investment that reaches the minimum required amount, and the investment has the risk of losing money. Generally speaking, this means that the person directly invests in cash or assets, and the investment period can be as long as two years. The minimum investment required may be 500,000 or 6,543.8+0,000 dollars, depending on the unemployment rate in the investment area. For such applications, it is very important to create employment opportunities.
At present, EB-5 investment immigrants based on the regional center model authorized by USCIS and the investment projects operated by regional centers are popular in China, and they need to apply to USCIS for approval before they can openly look for investors in the market.
There are many ways to get a green card in the United States, but in comparison, EB-5 investment immigrants are more favored by investors because they have no personal business experience or academic qualifications and the application process takes a short time.
