1. Diplomatic passports and official passports are valid for up to 5 years, and new passports can be issued after expiration;

3. Passports of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region are generally valid for 10 years, and passports issued to children under the age of 16 are valid for 5 years, after which new passports can be issued;
4. Generally, Macao SAR passports are valid for 10 years, and passports issued to children under 16 years old are valid for 5 years. A new passport can be issued after the expiration.
Passport processing process is as follows:
1. Preparation materials: ID card, household registration book, photos, etc.
2. Submit an application in the exit-entry management window of the Public Security Bureau, fill in the relevant forms and pay the handling fee;
3, waiting for the audit, generally need to wait a few working days;
4. After approval, go to the designated place to take passport photos;
