First of all, immigration does not mean changing nationality.

If he has only obtained permanent residency abroad, he is still a citizen of China, an enterprise or a domestic private enterprise.

If he changes his nationality, he needs to go through the formalities of shareholder change in China. After all the formalities are completed, if he becomes a shareholder as a foreigner, then the enterprise is a Sino-foreign joint venture or a foreign-funded enterprise (depending on the identity of all shareholders).

If he changed his nationality, but did not change the shareholders and other procedures, then the enterprise is still the previous holding enterprise.
