What are the 482 visa occupations in Australia?

482 visas are divided into short-term and medium-term visas.

Short-term 482 visas are designed for enterprises that cannot hire qualified Australian workers, so that they can temporarily hire foreign workers to fill the gap. Visa applicants who meet the relevant occupational list can stay in Australia for two years and can only renew it once. The STOL occupational list will be applicable to such applicants.

Applicants on the list of medium and long-term occupations can obtain a medium-term 482 visa for four years, and can apply for permanent resident status after holding it for three years. In the medium term, 482 will allow employers to recruit foreign workers if they can't find Australian workers to solve the labor shortage in high-skilled and special-needs fields. Mid-term 482 holders can renew their visas and apply for PR in China after working in Australia for three years.

The MLTSS occupational list will be applied to medium-term TSS applicants.
