I am a sophomore. I want to study in Australia after the college entrance examination. I heard that you have to take IELTS when you go abroad. What is IELTS? How to learn? It is urgent.

Hello, I am studying century IELTS. I summed up some experiences through study and shared them with you:

First of all, I suggest taking the free English test of Century IELTS. Because the teacher can not only help you mark the papers, but also make a study plan that suits you ~ ~ ~

Secondly, I suggest you attend a fully enclosed IELTS training course to learn about IELTS and how to answer questions. It is still more useful.

Arrange a plan for you:

The first is the preparation work:

Many people will think, do you want to go to various intensive cram schools? Personally, if you are not a great person, going to class will still be of great help. I didn't plan to go to class originally, because I thought I had a good foundation, and then I could fully understand reading and listening, but I often made mistakes in practice. After attending the cram school, the effect will be much better and the grades will be greatly improved. It is almost possible for China students to get high marks in oral English and writing. Therefore, you have to take the first two courses to get grades. These two methods are very important. But if you go to cram school, the premise is that you have a certain English foundation. The teacher won't help you make up the foundation, only the way can teach you.

Independent review

It's best to attend cram school about 1 month before the exam, and then leave some time to review by yourself. You should get up at 8 o'clock every morning and start listening and reading at 9 o'clock every week before the exam. It is very important to adjust your state! In the afternoon, I will listen carefully and learn the new words in reading repeatedly. The range of IELTS articles is often the same. It is enough to recite new words in listening and reading without memorizing many words. I think my vocabulary is about 5000 at most, which is completely enough. You don't need to write carefully at night, practice oral English. It is enough to keep 6 points in these two events, and it is easy to keep 6 points.

Problem-solving skills

In fact, everyone should have their own methods. I will tell you mine for your reference.

Listening: IELTS listening speed is not fast and the topic is very close to life. The scene is nothing more than a school library, a bank, an intermediary hospital, an airport and so on. It can be said that it is very practical and the degree of guessing the answer is also very high. It's better to have a scene dialogue. At that time, I prepared a book devoted to these scenes and dialogues, so I could practice my oral English and listening. Read too much, and you will know the scene as soon as you see the topic. Then immediately recall the dialogue corresponding to the scene and lock the keywords, so it is easy to turn the fill-in-the-blank question into a multiple-choice question, which can narrow the scope. Some people say that we should listen and walk at the same time, but I don't think the effect is good. Be sure to listen attentively. It will be much better to take out the landscape book during the break.

Reading: reading may be difficult when you are in contact, but as long as you grasp one item, all the answers to IELTS reading can be found in the original text, at most, change synonyms, and don't be afraid to see new words. The more uncommon a word is, the less likely it is to be changed. As for the T/F/NG that many people feel headache, it is actually a range problem. The sentence corresponding to the topic may be 1-3. It's easy to find it by keyword positioning, and then read these sentences carefully. The range is exactly the same as T, and the range is reduced or exaggerated to NG, and the range is completely different from F. In fact, the British value logic, not their logical strangeness, which is very strict.

Writing: 6 points is easy, as long as the meaning is clear, there are not many grammatical spelling mistakes. If you set up two templates, 6 points should be no problem, 7 points will be very difficult ... it takes a lot of effort. For students with poor composition, you can refer to the template, but don't recite others' words. You can find someone with good English around you to help you write a simple one, and then you must adhere to the three principles. 1: the central sentence must be placed at the beginning of the paragraph, and point out the theme 2: learn to replace words, for example, don't have many articles, replace them with basic clauses. Don't have too many long clauses, just turn them over and use the subjunctive mood.

Oral English: it is best to choose the western region -0- so it is best to keep 6 points in oral English. Moreover, the invigilation of the oral examination in the western region is not very strict, so you can ask for a card. There are only 8 cards in common use-16, and several cards can be used for multiple words. When you speak, you should also adhere to several principles: speak loudly and be confident. 2. Never correct yourself. If you are wrong, continue to say 3: don't stop, just don't stop. Too much is too late, and the examiner will remind you to come back, which is better than nothing. 4. Use modal particles such as WELL UMM, don't use en ... and don't say how to say, you know and so on, which makes people think you suck ~ ~

I wish you an ideal IELTS score! ! !
