Latvia's investment immigration policy

In Latvia: 1. Purchase real estate; 2. Deposit a five-year time deposit in a Latvian bank; 3. Foreigners who run companies in Latvia (one of the three) can immediately obtain a Schengen residence permit valid for 5 years. Holders of this permit, spouses and children under the age of 18 can freely enter and stay in Schengen countries.

Foreign citizens who have stayed in Latvia for more than five years after the expiration of their residence permit have the right to apply for permanent residence. (You cannot live in Latvia for six consecutive months within five years, or the total time cannot exceed 12 months). If the applicant is unable to stay in Latvia within the above-mentioned period due to some special circumstances, if he falls ill, it will be regarded as a legal act and will not affect the applicant's continued residence in Latvia. If the application for permanent residence fails, you can also enter Latvia with a short-term residence permit, and you need to register and update it every year.
