Immigrant sketch

This is a seriously underestimated film. When we mention Zhao Benshan, we will suddenly think of the Spring Festival Evening, skits and duet, but almost forget that Zhao Benshan is an excellent actor and his acting skills can't be underestimated. In this film, Zhao Benshan gave superb acting skills, which made people forget all the traces before. He is a good actor, and he was really delayed by the sketch career.

We in China value "returning the fallen leaves to their roots", which is actually a recognition of our home in our bones, but Zhao Benshan made a solemn commitment to this matter because of a joke, taking the body thousands of miles away and the desire of the deceased to go home, and embarked on a journey home. The film seems absurd, but it is adapted from a real event: migrant workers suddenly died at work, and workers returned home with their bodies thousands of miles away. The director told the story slowly with very warm Chinese skills, and the people watching it cried and laughed.

Interestingly, at the end of the movie, Zhao Benshan finally sent his workmate's body back to his hometown, only to find that this land was forced to emigrate because of the Three Gorges Project. When he returned to his hometown, the leaves fell back to his roots and suddenly became an unfinished dream, echoing the "Three Gorges Good Man" released at the same time. It can be seen that many people have left their homes for the Three Gorges Project. It can't be said to be ironic, but people who watched it were very depressed and traveled thousands of miles to get this ending. Black humor is not the solution to the problem.

The same details are very touching. When Lao Zhao wanted a ride but found it was a school bus, Lao Zhao chose to wave "Let's go" and waved with the children, who returned a bottle of water. The rugged Lao Zhao tried his best to give the dead workers the last bit of dignity, so he would tell others that he was asleep, sick or tired, and even put on sunglasses. Such tender details make it easier for the audience to see Lao Zhao's inner softness and kindness.

After Lao Zhao committed suicide and was rescued, he heard the children of beekeepers read the text "If the motherland is a road and I am a car, how happy I am;" If my motherland is a big tree and I am a leaf, how happy I am when I shake it. "At the end of the movie, Lao Zhao sat in the car and recited the text loudly, but changed" motherland "into" hometown "and wore sunglasses. This detail impressed me deeply. I think, at that moment, after fulfilling the wish of the workmate and gaining love, he put down his burden and came from the heart.

The director's exposition of human nature is also wonderful. In the carjacking robbery, the people in the car first showed fear. Later, after being rescued, they thanked Lao Zhao and drove him out of the car. The momentum is high, which is completely different from the previous hijacking. Such details are even more ironic, which just reveals the coldness of human nature.

I like this kind of movie. No stormy waves, no savior. Starting from a nobody, a winding road has seen through the coldness of the times and tasted the warmth and coldness of human feelings. I also saw the helplessness of the little people in the big era, and I really saw the appearance of China.
