TOEFL test process

Time for candidates to arrive at the examination room

Candidates must be present at least 30 minutes before the TOEFL test begins. If the exam starts at 8:00 am, candidates must arrive at the examination room before 7:30 am. Examiners have the right to refuse candidates who arrive later than this time to enter the examination room. Candidates who are late will not be refunded or retested.

About personal belongings

Candidates can bring TOEFL online test confirmation and identity documents to the examination room. In addition to identity documents, no personal belongings may be brought into the examination room. Personal belongings must be stored in designated lockers outside the examination room. Please do not bring valuables into the examination room, otherwise you will not be responsible for the loss.

Waiting to enter the examination room

Candidates should wait in the waiting area after arriving at the examination room, obey the examiner's instructions, and don't be noisy or crowded. After completing the personal belongings storage, preliminary examination of identity documents, reading and signing the confidentiality agreement issued by the examiner, wait for the examiner to arrange admission. In order to avoid taking up the examination time, candidates are advised to use this time to go to the toilet.

Candidates' enrollment registration and examination arrangement

Examiners will arrange for candidates to check in and enter the examination room in turn. Candidates should bring their identity documents and sign a confidentiality agreement to accept the examiner's registration. Examiners will check confidentiality agreements, check documents and shoot digital videos. Candidates whose names and birthdays shown on their identity documents do not match the registration information will be refused entry. Examiners can't change candidates' names, and can only submit modification applications by email for individual spelling mistakes (such as name inversion, unequal space positions, etc.).

Candidates' seats are randomly assigned by the computer system. Candidates' photos, admission ticket numbers, names and birthdays will be displayed on the computer monitor at the designated examination location. The examiner will guide the candidates to their seats. At this time, candidates are forbidden to touch the computer keyboard and mouse. Candidates should check whether the information on the display is correct. Candidates can use the keyboard and mouse to start the exam only after the examiner inputs the keyboard unlocking instruction.
