Does the Australian IEA vocational assessment accept TOEFL scores?

Australia's IEA career assessment does not accept TOEFL scores.

1. Language requirements of the Australian Institute of Engineers: IELTS score should be no less than 6 points in each course, valid for 2 years, and the original transcripts should be sent directly from the IELTS test center to the evaluation institution. Applicants whose mother tongue is English or who have obtained an Australian undergraduate engineering degree or doctoral degree in Australia can be exempted from the IELTS score requirement.

2. When English scores need to be submitted, if IELTS listening, speaking, reading and writing all exceed 6 points or the average score is only 6 points, you can pass the examination. Only TOEFL scores can't pass the evaluation smoothly.

3. The Australian Institute of Engineers is mainly responsible for the professional evaluation of skilled immigrants. The Australian Institute of Engineers divides engineers into four categories, including engineers in aviation, agriculture, biochemistry, architecture, chemistry, civil engineering, electricity, electronics, engineering technology, industry, materials, machinery, mining, shipbuilding, petroleum, production and other industries, but software engineers are not within the evaluation scope of the Australian Institute of Engineers.

4. To apply for general skilled immigrants in Australia, the person nominated as an engineer must be evaluated by the Australian Institute of Engineers. Only those who pass the evaluation can immigrate to Australia on the nomination of engineers.

5. Engineer assessment is the most complicated of all professional assessments for Australian ordinary skilled immigrants. Applicants are required to submit three competency demonstration reports, each with no less than 1000 words.
