Brief introduction of Xiangyun town

Xiangyun Town, located in the southwest of the county seat, has jurisdiction over 33 administrative villages, among which 9 administrative villages are original immigrant villages in Xin 'an County of Xiaolangdi Reservoir Area, with an area of 67.8 square kilometers, 54,800 mu of cultivated land and a total population of 57,900, with a total of14,395 households and 275 villagers' groups. The town has obvious location advantages, 6 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Yuecun Township in the east, Zhaoxian Township in the west, Huangzhuang Town in the north and the Yellow River in the south, which is an important node of the western village system in Wenxian County. Xiangyun Town enjoys convenient transportation in all directions, and four traffic trunk lines, namely Xinluo Road (S309), Guhuang Road (Z002), Wumeng Line (X02 1) and Wangyuan Line (x039), run through the town. An industrialized system with equipment manufacturing, household furniture, plastics and rubber as the leading industries was initially formed. Xiangyun Town is the only core area of the comprehensive modern agricultural reform experimental zone in the province, the core area of the national modern agricultural demonstration zone determined by the Ministry of Agriculture, and an important scientific research base for improved wheat varieties in China.
