Can national defense students go abroad?

National defense students are not allowed to go abroad while they are in school or in the army, because national defense involves national secrets, except for those assigned by the army.

National defense students refer to fresh high school graduates from ordinary middle schools who take part in the unified national college entrance examination (including recommended students who meet the conditions for recommendation) who are recruited by the military (armed police force) based on the needs of military construction based on local ordinary universities. The early batch of undergraduate students recruited and the reserve army (police) officers selected and trained from college students. National defense students enjoy national defense scholarships while in school, complete prescribed academic and military and political training tasks and achieve training goals. After obtaining graduation qualifications and corresponding degrees, they go through the enlistment procedures in accordance with the agreement and are appointed as military (armed police) cadres.
