What arms is the Ranger?

Rangers are the only two special forces in the United States that can participate in frontal operations (the other is the reconnaissance of the Marine Corps).

Rangers are an elite force with a long history, and its establishment can be traced back to the AD1670s, when immigrants from the United States constantly clashed with local Indians in the westward movement. Under the sinister geographical environment and the uncertain threat of Indians at that time, rangers with novel tactics came into being: they carried out exile tasks in front of the reclamation area in the form of small teams, providing early warning for Indians' assault. In the subsequent battles against France and Indians, under the leadership of Major Rogers, the Rangers gradually became the leading soldiers of the whole army, which was also a symbol of honor and Excellence. One of his most famous 28 rules is "tell the truth what you see and do". It is this spirit of responsibility and courage that makes this elite team perform well in both the war of independence and the civil war.

Today's 75th ranger regiment consists of three battalions, with headquarters in Fort Banning. All non-commissioned officers and soldiers join voluntarily, and members must pass high physical, psychological and moral standards, and have received parachute training and ranger training (ROP training for officers and RIP training for soldiers) before they are qualified to become a member of this strong team. The regiment maintains a high state of readiness-each battalion can be deployed around the world within 1 1 hour after receiving the order. In order to maintain its adaptability, rangers also need to receive polar, jungle, desert, mountain and amphibious training, plus night and bad weather and terrain exercises in order to deal with any accidents.

Under each assault battalion belonging to light infantry, there are three rifle companies and one battalion company. Each rifle company has 152 non-commissioned officers and soldiers, and the battalion company has 124. Except for a few vehicles and the following groups, they are all light weapons:

84 mm Ranger anti-tank weapon (RAWS)

60 mm forced gun

M240G machine gun

Class automatic weapon (saw)
