What is the solar system?

The solar system is our own galaxy, at the edge of the Milky Way. The solar system contains many members, the most important of which are the sun and eight planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune), and the secondary members are five dwarf planets (Pluto, Venus, Ceres, pregnant stars and bird stars) that have been identified, as well as at least 173 satellites orbiting the big planets.

The positions of the main members of the solar system, from left to right, are: Sun-Mercury-Venus-Earth-Mars-Asteroid Belt-Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus-Neptune-Kuiper Belt.

Located in the center of the sun, the sun is the largest and hottest planet in the solar system, with a core temperature as high as 654.38+0.5 million degrees Celsius. According to their characteristics, the eight planets in the solar system can be divided into terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars) and woody planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune), in which terrestrial planets are mainly composed of silicate rocks, while woody planets are gas planets. Mercury is the closest and smallest planet to the sun. Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system. The earth is the only living planet in the solar system. Mars is the planet in the solar system that is most similar to the earth's environment, and it is most likely to have life. At present, it is also the first choice for human planet immigrants. Jupiter is the largest planet and rotates fastest. With 69 grams of satellites, Jupiter is the planet with the largest number of natural satellites discovered by human beings. The largest satellite in the solar system is Jupiter's Ganymede. Saturn is a planet surrounded by a beautiful halo, which is Saturn's planetary ring (many planets have planetary rings, but Saturn's rings are particularly beautiful from the earth, which is also an important reason why it is famous). Uranus is the coldest planet in the solar system with a minimum temperature of -224℃. Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun.

The orbits of the main celestial bodies in the solar system are close to the ecliptic of the earth, and the main celestial bodies rotate counterclockwise around the sun (small celestial bodies do not follow the above laws).
