7. Li Zhaoxing, honorary president of Shandong Foreign Affairs Translation Institute, has a warm home. The scene of him and his wife Qin Xiaomei walking hand in hand was once described as a beautiful talk by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They were in the same class in college. What impressed her most about Li Zhaoxing was that he was particularly kind and a warm and responsible man.
Wife: Qin Xiaomei, former Counsellor of China's Representative to the United Nations, Deputy Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
My father-in-law is a famous diplomat, Qin Lizhen, the secretary of People's Republic of China (PRC), and the former director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Li Zhaoxing and his wife have a son. In order to let him know that he is a descendant of the cultivators and loves his hometown, they named his son "Hehe". Hehe, after graduating from Beijing No.4 Middle School, I was admitted to Tsinghua University, and then I studied in the United States. 200 1 year, hehe graduated from college with the first place and found a job through the internet. In 2004, Hehe was admitted to the School of Business Administration of Harvard University. Li Zhaoxing is an open and good father and respects his son's wishes very much. He told Hehe: In this world, you can't rely on anyone but yourself.
As early as May 2000, Li Zhaoxing wrote a poem to Hehe who was studying in the United States, which was also his own confession:
Do not forget who you are.
You are a friend of a friend.
You are a relative of a relative.
You are the son of the motherland.
This is the root of everything. Li Zhaoxing's love for literature is equally well known. As early as childhood, literary dreams were deeply rooted in his heart.
1940 10, Li Zhaoxing was born in Wang Jiacun at the foot of Dazhu Mountain in Jiaonan County, Qingdao, Shandong Province. Li's family are all in business, and the annual harvest is only enough to fill his stomach. Li Zhaoxing's grandfather is very open-minded and insists on sending his grandson to school.
Li Zhaoxing was addicted to reading. Grandpa took him to work in the fields and suddenly disappeared. When he found it, he was hiding and reading greedily. Grandpa has been lenient since then. As long as Li Zhaoxing studies, he is never forced to work. Sometimes, Li Zhaoxing reads books while eating. The food fell on the table, only to find that it was not in the mouth.
After graduating from primary school, Li Zhaoxing came to Jiaonan County and stayed in Jiaonan No.1 Middle School for five years. In the county, his favorite place to go is the library. Every Sunday, the honest boy who goes first and leaves last must be him. Although living conditions are very difficult, Li Zhaoxing still spends all his time studying, especially English and Chinese.
When he was in junior high school, Li Zhaoxing began to steal to learn to write poetry. At that time, I was young and competitive and thought I was a poet. Once in the composition class, he got up the courage to write a poem and handed it in as a composition. Unexpectedly, the teacher not only didn't criticize, but also scored high. On the eve of junior high school graduation, his essay "Grandpa is getting younger and younger" was published in Shanghai Youth Literature and Art.
1in the summer of 959, Li Zhaoxing graduated from high school and began to sprint to the university. Li Zhaoxing's first choice for the exam was Chinese Department of Peking University, and his second choice was English major of Western Language Department of Peking University. Unexpectedly, Peking University accepted him as its second choice. Since then, Li Zhaoxing studied under the famous English educator Xu Guozhang and other professors, but he was more or less disappointed that he failed to become a Chinese department.
1In the autumn of 964, Li Zhaoxing was assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He didn't immediately devote himself to diplomacy, but went to a translation advanced course (equivalent to a graduate student) entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After several years of professional training, Li Zhaoxing's English level is impressive. According to his friends at that time, Li Zhaoxing was able to watch Shakespeare's plays in classical English quite easily when he graduated. Even in countries such as Britain and America, this is usually the level that English experts can have.
The poor life in his early years formed a simple and persistent part of Li Zhaoxing's character. As a poet, he is also a middleman between emotion and temperament. During his long diplomatic career, Li Zhaoxing became attached to writing. When he was stationed in Kenya, Lesotho and other African countries, his son was still young. In order to express his thoughts on his son, he wrote a series of articles for young readers in China, which were collected and published and named Colorful Land. A person who knows how to love must have an infinite spiritual world. After moving from Africa to the United States, Li Zhaoxing's love for his motherland and relatives grew day by day. Love is the root of everything.
One of his songs, young chinese, expressed his deep attachment:
Wan Qian Li Jia zhong
Only you don't paint.
A pure love
smart
You are youth.
Baishanfang
Only you have an open world.
Find an equal bosom friend.
Save yourself with honesty.
You are China!
