Study tour composition 800 words.
This winter vacation, accompanied by my parents, I participated in a study tour in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Chiang Mai, a beautiful town in northern Thailand, has the title of "Rose of Northern Thailand". The climate here is pleasant, the scenery is beautiful, and flowers bloom in all seasons. Shops and residents in the street decorate their houses very chic, which makes people feel the leisure and comfort of life in Chiang Mai. At night, colorful lights will make Chiang Mai colorful, and colorful night markets and food stalls will turn this small town into a bustling ocean.
Our school is located in the south of Chiang Mai. It is an international school established by Britain in Chiang Mai. Kindergarten and high school are integrated. The campus is big and beautiful. You will see students of different nationalities and colors. The cafeteria is self-service. I saw that the students ate in moderation and took the initiative to express their sincere thanks to the life teacher, which made me feel the good atmosphere and mental outlook of this school. Our teacher comes from England and is very enthusiastic and humorous. She led us to speak bravely and communicate in English. The course is very interesting, so that we can learn and improve happily. In just two weeks, I have established profound friendship with my classmates from all over the world, learned many new games and greatly improved my language ability. From the understanding in the first half to occasionally doing small translation for classmates.
Life on weekends is also colorful. We visited the ancient city of Chiang Mai, the night zoo, the elephant camp, the tiger camp and many famous temples. Among them, what impressed me the most was visiting the children in the orphanage. We brought a lot of sweets, milk and daily necessities. When these were delivered to them, everyone smiled and folded their hands to express their gratitude. I am also very happy in my heart, and I think it is a very happy thing to help others. Although life in the orphanage is very poor, and a normal life can only be guaranteed by donations from monks and good people in the temple, the children here are still optimistic and full of hope for the future. This reminds me of what teachers often say to us: No matter what difficulties we encounter, as long as we work hard, we will get better and better. It also makes me cherish my happy life more. I have nothing to worry about, and my parents are with me. I have no reason not to work hard. I want to actively realize my beautiful dream.
The two-week study tour made me gain a lot and feel a lot, which not only improved my English, but also broadened my horizons and experienced a different cultural atmosphere, which was very meaningful. I hope I can participate in such activities more often in the future and have richer gains and insights.
