Historical and cultural relics of Caochangpo

The treasure of Shaanxi Provincial Museum of History was unearthed in Caochangpo. This dragon was unearthed in the southeast corner of Yongle Square in Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty. This is the residence of the Prime Minister Yan Guogong Zhang. According to documents, the mage once told Zhang that there was a royal spirit in the northwest of his home, so it was not appropriate to borrow soil. A month later, the mage told Zhang that other people who borrowed soil were afraid of disasters and buried dragons underground, probably to restore the imperial spirit and achieve the purpose of eliminating disasters and praying for blessings. Caochangpo is located on the north-south axis of Xi 'an, where there are more than 20 bus stops and it is an important transportation hub. Caochangpo ramp gradually rises from the west entrance intersecting Chang 'an Road, connecting Yongning Road in the north and a roadway leading to Erhuan South Road in the south, with a total length of more than 600 meters. From the ramp to the south, the area is relatively high, including Caochangpo Village, the family courtyard of the unit, and several newly-built communities.

More than a thousand years ago, when the Sui Dynasty built Daxing City (later Chang 'an City in Tang Dynasty), the terrain of Xi 'an City was not completely flat. Between Longshouyuan and Shaolingyuan, there are six high slopes extending southward from Hongmiaopo. The six high slopes, just like the six hexagrams in Zhouyi, are arranged in the order of ninth, second, third, fourth, fifth and ninth days. When Yuwen Kai was appointed to design the capital, he made full use of the six-foot terrain. "There are six high slopes in the north and south of Suzaku Street, so he set up a palace as the residence of the emperor in 1992, and set up a hundred departments in 1993 to meet the number of gentlemen, so he didn't want ordinary people to live there, so he set up a Xuanduguan and Xingshan Temple to settle his place." Generally speaking, nine days is a "hidden dragon" and should not be used; The high slope in 1992 was "seeing dragons in the fields", so Miyagi was set up to let the emperor live; 1993, the imperial city was built on the high slope, and official offices were set up to show the loyalty and diligence of civil and military officials; The location of the ninth five-year plan ramp is noble and beyond the reach of ordinary people. Caochangpo area is close to the Ninth Five-Year Ramp.

According to Zhang, a retired professor in the history department of Northwest University, Caochangpo is a continuation of the Five Ramps. It is located in Yongle Square outside Guocheng, which is under the jurisdiction of Xianning County. The terrain is high and ordinary people are not allowed to live. Pei Du, the prime minister of the Jin Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, and Tong Li, the left shoulder gate, were once located here. In the 1970s, a precious cultural relic named bronze dragon with gold-plated iron core was unearthed in Caochangpo, with exquisite shape and exquisite craftsmanship. Later, it was collected by Shaanxi History Museum and exhibited at home and abroad for many times. The legend of this gold-plated bronze dragon is a relic of Zhang Xiangfu. From the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Caochangpo became a village, which lasted for a long time. According to the introduction of the elderly in Caochangpo Village, during the large-scale immigration activities in the Ming Dynasty, some people in Linfen, Shanxi Province bid farewell to the pagoda tree, left their homes to migrate, settled down in Caochangpo, and began to make a living by farming with diligence and kindness, gradually forming the most popular names of several villages such as Lu, Qi, Li and Liu.

Before liberation, the villagers in Caochangpo grew a variety of food or did small businesses. At that time, the life of the villagers was very difficult because of the war. After liberation, Caochangpo village, like other parts of the country, entered a brand-new historical development period, focusing on growing grain, carrying out land reform, setting up mutual aid groups and carrying out various cultural activities. During the three years of natural disasters in the 1960s, under the situation of tight food supply, the older generation of leading cadres in Caochangpo Village led the villagers to become self-reliant and opened the first bean curd processing factory and vermicelli factory in the village, with nearly 100 employees. Then on this basis, develop pig industry in exchange for food and solve the problem of food and clothing. Around this time, several factories were also built on this slope.

Nowadays, when it comes to tofu factory and vermicelli factory, people in Caochangpo are deeply touched. Many old people even think that "tofu processing factory and vermicelli factory have saved the lives of Caochangpo people".
