Singapore Permanent Resident Re-entry Permit

1 Singapore's re-entry permit is a kind of entry permit specially issued to Singapore permanent residents (PR). Just like the Immigration Bureau issues tourist visas, family members bring family members with permits, and students bring student permits, you can only enter Singapore with these valid permits. It is safer to take it with you when you go abroad.

As long as you are a permanent resident at any time, you must need this re-entry permit. As far as the current policy is concerned, the re-entry permit will not be automatically updated, and it must be updated in person at the Immigration Bureau (possibly through the Internet).

When your PR application is approved, the Immigration Bureau will ask you to register for PR at the Immigration Bureau within a certain period of time, and then the immigration officials will issue you this re-entry permit. When the re-entry permit is renewed, the authorities will review your work and income.

If you are unemployed, don't go abroad for the time being. You can ask the Chinese community for help when looking for a job.
