Burmese immigrants in Rakhine state

Myanmar, a country of 670,000 square kilometers, has more than 135 ethnic groups, excluding the unrecognized Rohingyas, which means that the number of ethnic groups in Myanmar is indeed very large. However, for Myanmar, multi-ethnicity can only be said to be a national reality, not a country's luck. Because there are many and serious ethnic contradictions in Myanmar, there are also many separatist forces on the separatist side, at least more than 20. One of the forces belongs to the Rohingya people, which is the recent international hot issue of the Rohingya people. Obviously, there are a large number of Buddhists, the main ethnic group in Myanmar, and it seems that the bullied party must be the "Rohingya", but the vast majority of China people do not sympathize with the Rohingya, and even "gloat". Why?

First of all, Rohingya people belong to "malicious immigrants"

All or most of the following situations are considered as malicious immigrants. 1. Entering a country for the purpose of obviously plundering the living resources of indigenous people; 2. Do not respect the customs and legal order of the main residents, and always exist as a closed small group; 3. Tension with other residents, even committing serious crimes of racial and ethnic vendetta. Obviously, Rohingyas are "malicious immigrants".

Rohingyas mainly live in Rakhine State in Myanmar, which is adjacent to Bangladesh, a Muslim country. The Rohingyas are mainly descendants of Bangladeshis and also belong to Muslims, while the vast majority of people in Myanmar and Rakhine State, the original residents of Rakhine State, belong to Buddhists. 1826, the first British-Burmese war, Myanmar was defeated and forced to cede Rakhine State to British India. In order to gain economic benefits and restrain Buddhists, the main residents of Myanmar, the British deliberately immigrated a large number of Muslims from Bangladesh to Rakhine State in Myanmar, plundered a large number of indigenous people's land and drove them out of their homes. These people constitute the main body of Rohingya people. At that time, R.B.Smart, a British immigration lawsuit in Rakhine State, Myanmar, recorded: "Arakan people are being driven out of their original residence by immigrants from Chittagong in the west (now a port city near Myanmar in Bangladesh) and have to move to the east."

When the Rohingyas established themselves in Myanmar, their primary goal was not to live in peace with the Burmese at all, but to deliberately split from Myanmar and join East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). During World War II, in order to prevent the Japanese army from advancing to India through Rakhine State in Myanmar, the British army set up a force composed entirely of Muslin in Bangladesh-Bangladesh No.5 detachment. However, when the British army retreated into India, the main energy of this armed force was not to fight against the Japanese army, but to become a weapon to drive away Buddhists. According to Burmese and British records, hundreds of villages were burned by V- detachments, and more than 654.38 million Buddhists were killed. The border town of Mengdu alone killed more than 30,000 Buddhists. Speaking of the blood debt owed by Team V, Rakhine people even used the word "ethnic cleansing".

Therefore, the Rohingyas belong to "malicious immigrants" to Myanmar, and their appearance in Myanmar is more similar to the "reclamation group" sent to northeast China and Taiwan Province Province during the Japanese invasion of China, only encouraged and connived by the British and Indian authorities.

Second, the main responsible party for the Rohingya issue in Myanmar is the unjust party!

After Myanmar's independence, Wu Nu government (1948- 1962) tried to solve the problem of Muslin in Rakhine State in a more moderate way. However, the Burmese, the main ethnic group in Myanmar, showed a strong nationalist tendency and tried to burmese the whole country. For this reason, the government has introduced many policies to strengthen the main ethnic groups, such as promoting Burmese, respecting Buddhism and giving Burmese people more special rights. This has intensified the relationship between Burmese and many ethnic minorities and triggered a protracted civil war. The Muslin Group in Rakhine State has been trying to split up and merge into Dongba for a long time. Various separatist forces and extreme armed forces have also formed, often making armed attacks, invading and slaughtering innocent Buddhist residents.

In addition, as the development level of Rakhine State is higher than that of Bangladesh, more Bangladeshis have been illegally crossing the border into Myanmar, which not only strengthens the Rohingya community, but also aggravates the Myanmar government's concern about the Rohingya issue. In this case, if the Myanmar government recognizes the legal identity of the Rohingya, more Bangladeshis will inevitably flood into Myanmar and exist as Rohingya; At the same time, the international community, especially Muslim countries, has more reason to intervene in the Rohingya issue in Myanmar.

Therefore, the Myanmar government simply does not recognize the legal status of the Rohingyas, believing that they are just illegal immigrants and should return to Bangladesh or India. 1982, the Wu Naiwen government promulgated the Myanmar Nationality Law, and the Rohingya people were designated as vassals of the British colonists. Because the vast majority of Rohingyas have low education and no citizenship, their study, employment and business in Myanmar are strictly restricted, which leads to the more acute contradiction between Rohingyas and the main ethnic groups in Myanmar. At the same time, in order to assimilate Rohingya people and retaliate against the attack of Rohingya armed forces, the Myanmar government has taken some very rude actions, such as destroying mosques, building temples, and even condoning the attack and killing of Rohingya by Buddhists.

Therefore, the Rohingya people and the Myanmar government, the main responsible party of the Rohingya problem, actually have no real justice. The real victims are ordinary Rohingya people and Myanmar residents. However, due to the religious characteristics of the Rohingya people, the extreme armed forces of the Rohingya people have formed a real relationship of fish and water with the Luo Xing people. Even if the Burmese government makes concessions, the Rohingyas will continue to resort to violence to seek de facto independence in order to split Myanmar. Therefore, Rohingya people living in various places are not worthy of sympathy. Unless they know how to respect other nationalities and cultures.
