About Marriage Immigrants in Canada

Article 28 of Canada's new immigration and refugee protection law stipulates that permanent residents must live in Canada for two years in any five-year period before they can renew their Maple Leaf cards and retain their permanent resident status in Canada. Immigrants here include investment immigrants and marriage immigrants. In this sense, you can go back to China to visit relatives at any time, but you can't visit relatives for more than three years in a row.

Permanent residents have this restriction. If you become a Canadian citizen and become a Canadian citizen, there is no such restriction!
