General situation of Qiang mine reservoir

Qiangkuang (Kung) Reservoir is located in the upper reaches of Weihe River at 10 km southwest of Zhigou Town, Zhucheng City, Shandong Province, east longitude11908 ′, north latitude 35 54 ′, and away from the estuary 18 1 km. The east and west reservoirs are 29.6 km and 30. 1 km respectively, and the east and west reservoirs are 33.6 km and 43 km respectively. The average slopes of the East and West Reservoirs are 2.62m/km and 2.18m/km respectively. Qiangkuang Reservoir controls the basin area of 656 square kilometers; The reservoir hydrological station was established in April 1960. There are medium-sized reservoirs 1 in Xuezhuang, small (I) reservoirs 10 and 66 small (II) reservoirs in the basin, with a total area of 2 1 1.4 square kilometers. The reservoir is about 30 kilometers away from Zhucheng and 2 kilometers away from Xu Wei Highway.

The geological strata of Qiangkuang Reservoir are mainly Cretaceous and Quaternary sediments. Cretaceous includes andesite porphyry, andesite tuff, sand shale and so on. The Quaternary is composed of gravel and sandy soil, and the sandy pebble layer is 3 ~ 8m thick. The reservoir area is located in the warm temperate monsoon region, with four distinct seasons and long light cycle. The east dam of the reservoir is located in the southwest of Qiangkui Village, Zhigou Town, Zhucheng City, and the west dam of the reservoir is located in the southeast of southeast Nanling Village, Wang Hu Town, Wulian County, at the exit of the mainstream canyon of Weihe River. Dongba is a clay core dam with a length of 890 meters and a maximum dam height of 27.7 meters. Xiba Dam is a homogeneous dam, with a length of 525 meters and a maximum dam height of 24.2 meters. The upstream of the two dams is fan-shaped, mostly mountainous and hilly. The spillway is located at the western end of Dongba. Spillway is an open weir with wide top, and there is no floodgate. Clear width of weir crest110.00m, maximum discharge of 3690 cubic meters per second, and maximum safe discharge of downstream river course of 2000 cubic meters per second. There are 3,700 immigrants in the reservoir area. The east dam of Qiangkuang Reservoir intercepts the two main tributaries of Weihe River-Hongning River and Zhonggu River, and controls the drainage area of 346 square kilometers to form the East Reservoir. Xiba intercepts the main channel of Weihe River, controls the basin area of 3 10 square kilometers, and forms the western reservoir.
