With the power of Buddha and Bodhisattva, it is completely possible to send the scriptures to the Eastern Tang Dynasty. From this, it can be seen that obtaining scriptures is not the purpose. The purpose of Buddha and Bodhisattva is to let Tang Monk find the true meaning of Buddhism in suffering, to achieve enlightenment and overcome difficulties. The process is practice, and practice is cultivating the mind.

Secondly, what I want to tell the poster is that success is a polysemous word and a non-existent thing. What is success? There are two old couples. One couple relied on their own efforts to send their children to higher education institutions. The children were also very successful. They eventually immigrated overseas and spread their branches. They can be said to be proud of their ancestors. The old couple should have succeeded, but their children There was no one to take care of them overseas. They could only look at the photos of their children and grandchildren for the rest of their lives. Another old couple failed to send their children to college. Their son dropped out of junior high school and could only live with his father. My mother sells vegetables and also marries a wife and has children. The family is unknown but happy and happy. The father is kind and the son is filial and lives the same life. Is this considered a success?

In terms of educating their children, the first couple is definitely successful, but in terms of happiness, their gains are far less than that of the second couple.

Sufferings in the world are a test of our spiritual path. Even if we have a smooth career, marry a beautiful wife, build a golden house, drive a BMW, and wear famous brands, have we succeeded? Is it possible to die with perfect merit? Definitely not possible. Even if you are satisfied in every aspect, you will feel that your wife is not beautiful enough, the house is not spacious enough, the car is not as expensive as others, and the clothes are not as luxurious as others... you will fall into the cycle of pain again. .

So, true success is inner strength, the so-called contentment.

Many things in ancient and modern times are joked about. How successful the heroic heroes of ancient times were, but what they left to future generations is nothing more than a name and a story. So everything we are experiencing now is insignificant.
