Which city does Three Gorges County in Henan belong to?

The Three Gorges Province was decided by People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1980s, but it soon died. The Three Gorges Province was once called the Three Gorges Special Administrative Region, the Three Gorges Special Administrative Region and the Three Gorges Administrative Region. After three revisions, it was finally named Three Gorges Province. The purpose of establishing Three Gorges Province is to cooperate with the construction of Three Gorges Project and manage industrial and agricultural production and immigration affairs more efficiently. The envisaged jurisdiction of Three Gorges Province is roughly the eastern part of Sichuan Province and the western part of Hubei Province, with an area of over 80,000 square kilometers and a population of17.6 million, with Yichang as its capital. In the end, the preparatory group for the establishment of the Three Gorges Province was cancelled by the Central Committee and the State Council, and the establishment of the Three Gorges Province was officially aborted.

The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is located in the hinterland of China, starting from Baidicheng, fengjie county, Chongqing in the west and reaching Nanjinguan, Yichang, Hubei in the east, with a total length of1.93km. It belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone and spans Fengjie, Wushan, Badong, Zigui and Yichang in Hubei.
