Instructions for entry into Bulgaria

Hold a single, double or multiple valid visa and residence permit issued by any Schengen member state, or hold valid visas and residence permits for Romania, Croatia and Cyprus You can enter Bulgaria within the validity period of the visa, and the number of days of stay is the number of days of stay shown on the Schengen visa. (With a single-entry Schengen visa, you can enter Bulgaria again after visiting a Schengen country. There is no requirement for where to enter, and you can also enter Bulgaria without entering a Schengen country).

Applying for a visa must be done in person. If you cannot apply in person for special reasons, you can entrust an authorized agent to deliver it (a notarized power of attorney is required), or through an authorized organization (a travel agency for the purpose of tourism business) .

Visa applications for minors under 14 years old must be handled by their parents or a third party authorized for this purpose. Applications for visas for minors aged 14-18 must have their parents sign a consent form. Or a third party authorized by parents for this purpose. If a minor leaves the country accompanied by one of his parents or any third party, a notarized consent form from the other parent is required.

Short stay (or entry) visa (C):

Applying for a short-term stay visa:

For tourism purposes: travel agency certificate or reservation for accommodation in Bulgaria. ?

For the purpose of study, academic research or professional training: Certificate from the accepting institution and reservation at the accommodation location. ?

For the purpose of visit: an invitation letter or a notarized copy of the invitation letter issued by the Bulgarian Immigration Service, a copy of the inviting party’s valid residence permit and passport. ?

For the purpose of visiting relatives: a statement of purpose of visit or proof of the applicant’s kinship. The statement states the true purpose of entry and stay, whether there is a criminal record, the degree of kinship, and the names, addresses and phone numbers of family members. . ?

For business purposes: invitation letter issued by the business partner, proof of existing business cooperation relationship, registration certificate from the industrial and commercial bureau of the partner unit, proof of residence in Baoding, dispatch letter from the unit and a copy of the business license. ?

For medical purposes: Proof of acceptance by a medical institution, including current condition and treatment status, diagnosis certificates from other medical institutions, and proof of residence. ?

For freight purposes: freight company orders. ?

For the purpose of paying homage to relatives buried in Hungary: proof of kinship and the address of the preserved cemetery.

For the purpose of cultural events: agency contract with the Bulgarian service provider and invitation letter from the event organizer.

For the purpose of sports competition: confirmation letter of sports activity participant or invitation letter from Bulgarian sports club, or certificate issued by a group sports organization (Olympic Committee, Ministry of Sports, etc.).

For the purpose of attending a conference: invitation letter issued by the conference organizer, participant confirmation letter issued by the conference organizer, certificate issued by the group organization, conference registration fee receipt. ?

For other purposes (regular shopping, entertainment, etc.): a statement of the true purpose of entry and stay, and whether there is a criminal record certificate. ?

Visa application fee: RMB 500, payable in cash.

Long-term residence visa (D) for more than 90 days:

Photo requirements:
