Can humans colonize a planet with greater gravity than the earth?

With the present human ability, it is difficult to colonize a planet exactly like the earth (if that planet is not in the solar system).

But the ability of human beings to adapt and evolve is obvious. People will be changed by the environment while adapting to it. Survival of the fittest, elimination of the fittest, this is a natural law.

However, with the development of science and technology, it seems that it is no more difficult for a highly intelligent creature like human beings to resist the high-gravity environment than the sudden emergence of space capabilities. Perhaps when humans can sail freely in the universe, the living environment greater than the gravity of the earth is nothing in front of science and technology.
