They are excellent native tree species in Liling, and also one of the largest rare tree species found in China, which has exceeded the preservation of Lechang County, Guangdong Province. Legend has it that Xiao Xiao of Lechang was an official in Guangdong, who brought back seeds to breed in Liling. In addition, it was brought by Guangdong immigrants in the Qing Dynasty. Jing Liebai belongs to Magnoliaceae, Michelia, evergreen trees and broad-leaved leathery. The flowers are white and fragrant, and the flowering period is between April and May. /kloc-The fruit ripens in October. Suitable for planting in slate shale red soil valley with abundant rainfall, mild climate, altitude of 200-450 meters and fertile soil. The trunk is round and straight, the wood is tough and meticulous, the texture is straight and does not crack. It is a good material for industry, architecture and life, an ideal water conservation forest and an excellent ornamental tree species in gardens. It is understood that there are more than 500 mother trees in Dianwan Village of Wangxian Town, Baiguo Village of nanqiao town, Baihe Temple of Guanzhuang Township and Longxingshan Village, with an annual output of 1000 kilograms. There are 269 mother trees in Dianwan Village, about 30 mu, with an age of 160 years. The largest plant is 35 meters high and DBH 98 cm. During this period, there were mixed tree species, such as rafters, Liquidambar formosana, Magnolia grandiflora, and Phalaenopsis. The gathering of mountain springs under the forest of Jinglie Prynne can not only supply domestic water for more than 30 households, but also irrigate more than 50 mu of fields.

1983 began artificial seedling raising, and the seedling raising was successful. A large number of seed seedlings were collected and extended to brother counties and cities in the province and Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei and other provinces, cities and autonomous regions.
