The history of Tibet?

China is a unified multi-ethnic country, and Tibet has been an inalienable part of China since ancient times. As early as BC, the Tibetan ancestors living here had contact with the Han people living in the Central Plains. Later, after a long period of time, many tribes scattered on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau gradually unified and became the present Tibetans.

At the beginning of the 7th century, the history of China entered a new stage. The Tang Dynasty (6 18-907) established a powerful unified regime, ending the chaotic division of the Central Plains for more than 300 years. At the same time, the Tibetan national hero Songzan Gambo annexed more than ten tribes, achieved reunification on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and formally established the Tubo Dynasty, with its capital in Lodi (now Lhasa). During his reign, Songzan Gambu was determined to restore the court of the Tang Dynasty and absorb the advanced production technology and political and cultural achievements of the Tang Dynasty. He sent ministers to the Tang court twice to propose marriage, and in 64 1 he married Princess Wencheng, the eldest daughter of Emperor Taizong. Songzan Gambu also introduced production techniques such as brewing, grinding, paper and ink from the Tang Dynasty, sent aristocratic children to Chang 'an (Jin 'an) to study poetry books, and hired Han literati to become scholars of the Fan Dynasty, thus maintaining a very friendly relationship with the Tang Dynasty in politics, economy and culture. Songzan Gambu was called "a captain attached to a horse" and "King of Xihai County", and was later named "King of Bin". Songzan Gambo established the relationship of "nephew, uncle and relative" between Tubo and Tang Dynasty for more than 200 years.
