Can Turkey be used as a springboard to America?

Turks have to apply for visas to go to the United States, and many people are refused visas. And now the relationship between Turkey and the United States is relatively poor. Although both sides are NATO members, the exchanges between Turkey and the United States are getting less and less. On the contrary, there are more and more exchanges between Turkey and Russia, so Turkey cannot be used as a springboard to the United States. The springboard to the United States should be developed countries such as Canada, Britain and Australia, not Turkey.
