Mudu ancient town-one-day tour

First stop: Yan Jia Garden.

Yan Jia Garden is the most famous garden with the highest gardening art in Mudu ancient town. Yan Jia Garden is the former residence of Mr. Yan Jiagan, the former president of Taiwan Province Province, covering an area of 16 mu. In fact, the first generation owner of Yan Jia Garden was Shen Deqian, a famous Suzhou scholar during the Qianlong period. In the eighth year of Daoguang, this garden was bought by the Mudu poet Qian and named "Broken Garden". In the 28th year of Guangxu, Duanyan was transferred to Yan, the richest man in Mudu. After Yan bought the next garden, it was rebuilt by Yao, a master architect of Xiangshan School, and changed its name to Garden, becoming a famous garden in the south of the Yangtze River. The most distinctive feature is the scattered layout of four small gardens in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Second stop: Yin Hong Shanfang.

Yin Hong Mountain Residence is the largest private garden restored in Mudu today. It used to be the residence of Xu Shiyuan, a beginner of Qing Dynasty. It is said that every time Gan Long goes to the south of the Yangtze River, he will disembark from the dock in front of Yin Hong Mountain House and visit the park. Therefore, local residents call this the "palace" of Qianlong among the people. Although it is a folk palace, the style of the royal garden can still be seen from the pattern of Yin Hong mountain houses. When you step into the garden, you can feel that this mountain house gives people an open and magnificent feeling, which is completely different from the previous style of Yan Jia gardens. There is a big stage in the middle. Every day, the scene of Qianlong's patrol is staged. In the distance of the stage, the "Chunhui Building" is reflected, which is also the place where the emperor and ministers taste tea in the drama. Chunhui Building has a garden in the east and a garden in the west. The West Garden "Xiuye Garden" is centered on water, and the East Garden "Xiaoyin Garden" was originally the place where the owner lived and lived. In the late Qing Dynasty, it became the former residence of Shen Xiu, the embroidery queen.

Third stop: Gusong Garden.

Gusong Garden is the former residence of Cai, one of the four richest men in Mudu in the late Qing Dynasty, covering an area of more than 10 square meters. It was named after the Arhat Pine of Amin Dynasty, which was over10m in height and over 500 years old in the garden. There is also an ancient ginkgo tree with a history of over 200 years, which is in harmony with the lush Gu Song. However, because I have visited two major gardens before, Gusong Garden gives people a simple feeling.

Fourth stop: second place.

The second place is the former residence of modern political commentator Feng Guifen. As we all know, in the ancient imperial examinations, palace examination was named the champion, the second was the second, and the third was the flower exploration. So this is also the second place to live. In fact, in books, we all know that Suzhou is outstanding. Why is a secondary government so famous? That's because Mudu is only a small town in Suzhou, and Mudu Town is the second best education. On the left side of the mansion, there is a sculpture of "The Breeding Map of Prosperity" drawn by Xu Yang, which shows the magnificent scenery of Suzhou at that time, half of which is Mudu scenery, and the other half is the scenery from Tiger Hill to Nagato. There is a small garden behind the mansion, but the scale is far less than that of Yan Jia Garden.
