Jimo Mingmen Zhoushi

A person has a story, and a family has a history. Please follow my descendants, listen to Zhou's story and bathe Zhou's family style.

At present, there are two opinions about where the population who moved to Jimo during the Hongwu and Yongle periods of the Ming Dynasty came from: First, they moved from Yunnan, mainly based on several genealogical records: their ancestors came from Wushawei, Yunnan, or from Little Yunnan. Another way of saying it is that most immigrants come from Shanxi. The reason is that a large number of historical facts of Shanxi immigrants are recorded in Ming History, and folk songs are cited as evidence: "Ask me where my hometown is, and where is Hongdong Dahuai in Shanxi." People who hold this view believe that Yunnan was a place where ethnic minorities lived in compact communities in the early Ming Dynasty, and there were few Han people, so they did not have the conditions for immigration.

Jimo, a city with a strong cultural history, can still find the humanistic atmosphere left here thousands of years ago. And we should focus on Jimo in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Although it does not have a thousand-year history, it has far-reaching influence.

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Jimo became famous, and the five famous families "Guo" were prominent for hundreds of years, and Zhou was the first of the five famous families. In the era starting from the imperial examination, Zhou was not famous for his high-ranking officials, but was admired for his outstanding talent and spirit. The three major ethnic groups, namely "Zhangjiagang Week", "Stay in the Village Week" and "Liuting Week", all have outstanding representatives.

Zhangjiagang has appeared in the administrative map of Jimo County in 1897, but it is not the earliest village name. According to Jimo local records, the ancestor Zhou Borong came from Runan, Henan Province, and later moved to Zhangjiabao, his hometown in northern Mexico City. It can be inferred from the name of this village that the place where Zhou went turned out to be a village, and the earliest person who built the village was Zhang.

The Zhou family originally came to settle down, so after they settled down, they devoted themselves to farming, diligently managed the family, and worked quietly in the area. After a period of hard work, Zhou's life became increasingly affluent, and the hard work of three generations of Zhou gave future generations the opportunity to study and study. In the fourth generation, a young generation named Zhou gradually appeared.

Zhou Shangmeisheng has four sons: Zhou Guo, Zhou Bang, Zhou Min and Zhou Fu. The third son, Zhou Minsheng, has two sons: Zhou Rulun and Zhou Rumian. The fourth son, Zhou Fusheng, has three sons: Zhou Ruzhu, Zhou Rudi and Zhou Rujing.

Among them, Zhou Rudi was born in the 29th year of Jiajing (1550). He is a disciple of 17 years old, and he won the first place in three exams. In the nineteenth year of Wanli, a review was granted; Twenty-nine years of Wanli, in charge of imperial academy affairs; In the thirty-ninth year of Wanli (16 1 1), he was promoted to imperial academy to offer wine. He selected the outstanding deeds of officials of past dynasties and drew them into a catalogue to improve the moral cultivation of eunuchs, and called them middle schools, which were greatly appreciated by the emperor. Zhou Rudi is the author of Collection of Qingling Pavilion, Cao Yunzhi, Collected Works of Zhou Taigong, Collection of Tao Te Ching and Fa Tie of Qingling Pavilion. Throughout his life, he was famous for his articles.

Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Zhou family in Zhangjiagang has produced eight Jinshi, including Jinshi 10 and 27 Jinshi. Now it has spread to the 25th generation, all over the country.

In addition to zhangjiagang week, the Zhou family who stayed in the village is also prosperous. There is a legend about the origin of the name of Liucun: According to the local records of Jimo, the ancestor of Zhou moved here from Runan, Henan Province in the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty. According to the genealogy of the Zhou family in Liucun, in the twenty-first year of Hongwu (1388), the son of Xu Da, the king of Zhongshan, was ordered to set up the Aoshan Guard, and he visited us because of his father's friendship. Therefore, Zhou called his place of residence Liucun and lived there for generations.

After Zhou An lived in agriculture for several generations, in the sixth generation, a man named Zhou Jiao stood out. He is a tribute to Jiajing, and is known to all generations. Zhou Hongmo was a martial artist during the reign of Gengxu in Wanli. He was frugal in the post-military governor's office. In the thirty-fourth year of Wanli, Zhou Hongtu was selected as a tribute, and the county magistrate was granted at the beginning. Later, because of actively suppressing An Baili, he was promoted to be a Tongzhi in Guizhou Army.

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were 8 Jinshi, 2 Wujinshi and dozens of tribute students. After more than 600 years, they have been handed down for 25 generations and moved to more than 60 villages.

Zhou, the ancestor of Zhou family in Liuting, moved to Liuting from Wushawei, Yunnan (then Liuting in Qingdao belonged to Jimo) in the second year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1404).

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were dozens of literati and Gong Sheng in the Zhou family in Liuting. After more than 600 years and 25 generations of inheritance, it has been transferred to more than 30 villages such as Balizhuang, Qingyutun, Zuijiubo, Xiao Xin, Sihou and Taolin in Jimo.

At the beginning, when the founder Zhou and his two sons Zhou and Zhou came here, they were able to build the "Thousand-handed Buddhist Temple", and the III gathered people to rebuild it. Zhou Wenchong IV and Zhou Xuan V continued to build, adding five-story stone pagodas and standing a monument to Zande. The temple was magnificent in appearance and full of incense.

Due to historical reasons, the ancient temple-"Thousand Hands Buddha Temple" has now disappeared. Zhou Rengong, Zhou, Zhou Xiangfeng, (secretary and director of the community party committee) and their relatives in Liuting were far-sighted and broad-minded. They reached an understanding with * * * and raised funds to rebuild the "Thousand-handed Buddhist Temple" and Zhou Ancestral Hall in Fuyang Road North Temple Park. This good thing will surely go down in history.

Liu and Hu lived in the same land, married for 600 years, and heard about each other. These two families are in-laws for generations and are called "Zhou Hu Family".

Today, the Zhou family in Jimo has scattered branches and leaves, and its people are all over the country.

Things have changed, and the dead are gone. However, the family style of Zhou family in Jimo is still inherited, and the spirit of hard work and hard work of the predecessors of Zhou family in Jimo is endless, inspiring the descendants of the family to forge ahead, work hard and create family glory again.
