Do I need a visa to work in Cambodia?

China's visit to Cambodia is not visa-free, and a visa is required.

Cambodian citizens going to China must apply for visas in embassies and consulates in China, Cambodia in advance. At present, Cambodia has consulates general in China, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Kunming, Nanning, Beijing and Hong Kong. Generally, embassies and consulates in China only issues tourist and business visas, which are valid for three months and stay for one month.

Since September 14, 2006, China and Cambodia have exempted visa holders of diplomatic and official passports from each other. After entering the country with a business visa (e visa), you can apply for a long-term residence visa for half a year or one year through a local travel agency. Holding a tourist visa (T visa), you cannot change the visa type after entering the country.

Cambodian citizens who travel to China from a third country can apply for a visa when they arrive at Cambodia's international port.

Official visa (B visa): issued to those who hold official passports and perform official duties in Cambodia.

Business visa (e visa): issued to people who come to Cambodia for short-term or long-term investment, business and labor services.

Visitor visa (C visa): issued to those who are invited by Cambodian officials to visit Cambodia.

Tourist visa (T visa): issued to foreign citizens visiting Cambodia.

Long-term residence visa (K visa): issued to Cambodians with foreign passports.

Visa-free (G visa): issued to/kloc-children under 0/2 years old.

Visa duration: 30 working days: 3 days. In order to facilitate the emergency of China citizens, the Cambodian state has set up an urgent business, which can be signed at sunrise within one working day.

Required materials: the applicant's original passport (valid for more than 6 months)+photocopy, three photos with a white background within six months (specification 3.5x 4.5cm), a photocopy of the applicant's ID card (both sides need to be copied), and truthfully fill in the visa application information form.

Visa validity: valid for 90 days.

Visa duration: 30 days

Working days: 3 days. In order to facilitate the emergency of Cambodian citizens, China has set up an emergency service, which can be signed at sunrise every working day.

Required materials: the applicant's original passport (valid for more than 6 months)+photocopy, three photos with a white background within six months (specification 3.5x 4.5cm), a photocopy of the applicant's ID card (both sides need to be copied), and truthfully fill in the visa application information form.
