What are Panama's neighbors?

Panama's neighbors are Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Columbus Islands.

1. Colombia is located in the southeast of Panama. There is a 225-kilometer-long border between Colombia and Panama, which crosses the Great Rainforest Mountains and Songshan Mountains.

2. Costa Rica is located in the southwest of Panama, and the border between Costa Rica and Panama is about 330 kilometers long.

Nicaragua is located in the south of Panama. There is no common land border between Nicaragua and Panama, but the main border between the two countries is the maritime border.

4. Columbus Islands. Columbus Islands is a group of small islands located in the Caribbean, including San Blas Islands in Panama and San Andres and Provi Dencia Islands in Colombia. Because the islands are scattered, there is no clear national boundary between them.

Panama is bordered by the Caribbean Sea in the east and the Pacific Ocean in the west. It can connect the two oceans through the famous Panama Canal, and it is one of the important hubs of economic and trade exchanges between North and South America.
