What is a provincial nomination

Brief introduction of provincial nomination

Canada's New Zealand Choice Agreement was signed and approved in February 1999. The agreement allows New Zealand to play an active role in immigration selection to meet specific economic needs.

According to the above-mentioned provincial election plan, New Zealand is looking for immigrants who can fill the shortage of labor market or contribute to employment and business expansion after coming to New Zealand, and have the attributes of work skills. After the applicant applies for immigration to Canada as a provincial candidate through the provincial election plan, the applicant will handle the documents faster.
