What are the conditions for dual admission in Canada?

Before introducing "double admission", let's first understand the two most important conditions for Canadian universities to admit China students:

1. Academic achievements:

Apply for undergraduate course: high school average; College entrance examination results; Academic exams (or exam results), etc.

Apply for a master's degree: college average; GRE or GMAT score.

2. Language score:

Most Canadian universities require China students to provide language scores above IELTS 6.5 (single item 6.0) or TOEFL 90 (single item 20).

If you can't meet the admission criteria of academic performance and language performance at the same time, can't you go to college? That was not the case. At present, there are two main ways for Canadian universities to admit China students:

Direct admission:

When students' academic performance, language performance and other conditions meet the university admission standards, universities will "directly admit" students. Students can go directly to the degree program.

Double admission:

Some universities in Canada open "double admission" for international students. When students' academic performance has reached the university admission standard, but their English performance has not yet fully reached the admission standard, they can get the "double admission" of language courses and degree courses. When students complete the language courses and obtain qualified results, they can transfer to degree courses.
