If a foreign citizen working in Russia rents a house or lives in his apartment, he must register his residence according to the address of the house and his apartment; If you stay in a hotel, you should handle it according to the hotel address, not according to the address of your work unit. Only under special circumstances, that is, when foreign citizens actually live in their work units, can they apply for residence registration according to the address of their work units.

Three, to further clarify the concept and legal responsibility of the inviting unit.

Paragraph 1 of Article 2 of the amendment stipulates that the inviting unit may be a Russian citizen who provides residence, a foreign citizen or stateless person who has lived in Russia for a long time, a legal person, an authority, a diplomatic representative office, a consular office, etc. In principle, whoever provides a real place of residence for foreign citizens is the inviting unit, and should register their residence and bear corresponding legal responsibilities.
