1, Chaoshan people rely on the sea to eat the sea, and Hakkas rely on mountains to eat mountains.

Chaoshan people migrated all the way from the Central Plains, but stopped in Fujian, and then came to the present eastern Guangdong. I live by the sea, so I go fishing to make a living. Hakkas generally live in mountainous areas, which may be related to the fact that they are ancient Han people from Lingnan mountainous areas. People in the mountains are generally simple, simple and enthusiastic.

2. Chaoshan people have marine personality and advocate doing business, while Hakka people are adults and advocate reading.

As mentioned earlier, with a large population and few people, and relying on the sea, it is natural to develop in the direction of the sea. One is a fisherman, and he has a flexible mind to start a trade business and even go to Southeast Asia to do business. So Chaoshan people like to do business, and what they like to do is of a trade nature. Isn't it said that there are100000 Chaoshan people in eastern Guangdong and100000 overseas? Hakkas are different. If you want to get out of the mountains, you have to read more books, read good books and get ahead through reading. Hakkas are also notoriously fierce in studying, which is also related to the fact that Hakkas attach great importance to education.

3. Chaoshan people speak Chaoshan dialect, which belongs to Minnan language family. Hakka dialect is Hakka dialect, which is said to be ancient Chinese.

Of the two words, I mainly speak Chaoshan dialect, which I often say at ordinary times. I have basically forgotten Hakka, because my mother doesn't speak Hakka at ordinary times.
