IELTS: The content of the article basically comes from the traditional question bank, such as social science topics about ancient civilization and immigration history, and natural science topics about the introduction of British agriculture and animal characteristics. The emergence of new topics is relatively regular, such as the topic of scientific English in education. Some new reading questions account for about 20%~30%.

3. Different components

The new TOEFL composition part adds an article to examine comprehensive ability. Candidates are required to read an academic article for 3 minutes, then listen to the recording of relevant lectures for 2-3 minutes, and finally write a short essay of 150-225 words within 20 minutes. The big composition part is basically unchanged, and the number of words is slightly longer than the old TOEFL requirement.

Topics include a description of a problem or event and three requirements for the tasks that candidates need to complete, not less than 150 words; The second essay is argumentative.
